The lyrics to this song I wrote last year. Singing it was a bit more tricky. It would have been great to have it sung by different people. You still can singalong with it though, as I also shared the lyrics. It is easy, you might be quite familiar with the original. Recently Mobypicture restarted their service again and my data was back up to be used. And so was the song recording of 'Do they know it's Cryptos time'.

Do we already have Cryptos Holidays? Well, I imagine it could be set at the date of the release of the Bitcoin Whitepaper? Or the actuall coming of the Bitcoin. And then which one, version 0.1 or 0.2? The 31st of october 2008 was the release of the Whitepaper. Yet its already taken by All Hallows Eve, also known as Haloween. The second Bitcoin client supported Linux and was released on december the 16th 2009. Too close to the other holidays though.

Make it januari the 8th

That was the day the first client of Bitcoin was released to the public. It was 2009, so what better 10 year celebration than 08/01/2019... Yes, that is the 8th of januari, it makes sense, really, it is not august. Anyway, Cryptos holiday, the coming of the Blockchain. Just keep the spruce fir up a little longer. On 7th get the previous holidays ornaments out and just leave the lights in. Maybe add some Bitcoin/ Cryptos related decorations.

Are BSV ones allowed in too? Yes, if you are cheering for that dark side, do as though wilt, I believe that was 'the law' that one follows. It is a fiesta, that is the main theme, to celebrate the birth of Cryptos (Bitcoin/Blockchain). Two days, I would prefer, as the 9th of januari was important too, to really kickstart the BTC blockchain. And of course on those two days we are thankfull for what the legendary Satoshi Nakamoto has given to the world.

Great for commerce too

Normally a day after newyears things tend to become dull. If you have ever worked in retail you know what I mean. And it is like that in a lot of businesses. The world could do with another bunch of holidays. Enter 'Cryptos days', great for commerce too. Imagine giving your loved ones clothing with Doge memes on it? Or an electric heater, that actually mines Cryptos also! Real 24K gold pressed Bitcoins, from the 10th anniversary mint.

Having dinner in a fancy restaurant. Finally january also has a fiesta. Makes it a much shorter wait for the next one on februari the 14th. And the great thing about the Crypto Holidays? That you can pay for all of that with Cryptos, where the merchants that join in can get it in the money kind they want. So you buy dinner with BTC and the entrepeneur gets EURO, for instance. Only if wanted as such, of course.

And we need songs

That is where I started, with an old tune, but with Crypto Time lyrics. Would be great to get the Karaoke machine out and sing it with friends and family. After having a Cryptos meal together, and a long night ahead. Celebrating the Bitcoin coming, the birth of blockchain technology. It made Cryptos a reality, thanks to Satoshi Nakamoto and all those who there after got involved. That is already something to celebrate, is it not?

But now consider the miracle of Bitcoin/ Cryptos and Blockchain Technology... How many times has it been declared dead now? And it came back to life, well it just moved forward actually. How many times did it get attacked from the outside and the inside? Still alive and kicking! While many in the banking monetary governance system still don't know if they should 'allow', 'forbid' or 'regulate' it, Cryptos still move forward. A Blockchain always can pick up where it left off, as if written in stone, it was build to last...

Therefore let's sing, rejoice ourselves to another decade of Cryptos! Come together, sing songs, feast and celebrate with family and friends. Let's make the Cryptodays a holiday, mark your calendar for the 8th and 9th of january 2019. A happy new Cryptos year and at the bottom of this post you'll find a singelong song to enjoy.
