The crown prince of Saudi Arabia has granted Sophia (the Hanson Robotics android) Saudi citizenship. He also plans to fund a massive AI/robotics/Internet Of Things metropolis called "Neom." Singularity Net could likely play a part you'd think (if the projects gets off the ground).....
Mind you, it's some scary shit.
