Now is as good a time as any to talk about how crypto has changed the world. Everyone likes to talk about how Bitcoin and altcoins can change the world after mass adoption but in my opinion they have already changed the world. Bitcoin has made plenty of millionaires already, Monero is on a bull run second only to the rise of Bitcoin and it is only heavily traded on one exchange, Poloniex, even if it comes back down to earth that is a good sign for crypto in general, especially Poloniex listed coins.If anyone knows more about Monero and why it is 16 dollars a coin all of a sudden I would love to read that in the comments. Steem has changed many lives itself but you already know those stories, you are here, so I wont rehash them. I know of a few people who profited pretty well from the rise of Litecoin. Will we see another one now that Litecoin has become the unofficial, bitcoin testnet? Demoing segwit for the world, Litecoin will teach us some valuable lessons in the near future. Banks, Nasdaq and entire governments are looking in to using blockchain tech for their own purposes but what is amazing about Bitcoin. It proved that someone or some group could create a thing so robust that even though governments wanted to take it down to retain control, they could not. Bitcoin is like the internet's/monies/stocks nuclear deterrent, It forces a stale mate where those seeking absolute control must now begin to make concessions.
