Hi Chris. Good reflection. I am still interested in this field, because I have gained so much knowledge and insights. Therefore I will not quit being engaged. Still, so much more to learn and to skills to develop. You seem to be a cool-headed trader and investor. That is what I need to develop and to learn. Keep up the great and authentic work and presentations.

Historically, every fiat currency has gone to zero, eventually. I personally believe that there is more risk of the $USD going to zero than any major crypto. When that day comes, I want to be prepared.

Tough times for sure.

I invest in BTC on a monthly basis based on the fact that it was created on sound Austrian economic principles. And despite the drastic price fall, BTC is NOT broken in any sense of the word. It is humming right along. Hundreds of much smarter people than me are improving it daily. As long as the price is under 10k, I will continue to buy every month. I just see this as an opportunity to buy more. I remember not too long ago, people were wishing for the price to come back down to 5k or whatever so they could get more.

i invested in crypto because i stopped drinking and smoking - had plenty of spare cash (was no cask wine drinker and price of 2 packets a day in australia is a joke) and needed something to do. if i kept drinking i would have pissed it away anyway. quit crytpo and take back up other addictions? - naw fk that. i also choose the lesser of two weevils:)

I still feel good about crypto, This bear market doesn't bother me. I got it all wrong in the dotcom bubble, over invested, felt the pain and got out, only to see another big bull run. I ignored crypto for years and it was only reading about Bitcoin Cash and seeing that Bitcoin was near 5k that got me looking at it properly. Soon as I bought Bitcoin near 5k, it dived to around 3k and that was painful. I think that helped me a lot. I wrote off the small bit of money I put in and anything it makes now is a bonus. I'll buy a bit more as prices fall and hope that for once I can time it right.

My goal in crypto is to have the ability to control my money fron seizure and constraints or as Trace Mayer would say have my monetary sovereignty. This is needed now more than ever and will be more important in the future.

Your words and perspective are a much needed reminder amidst all the over-emotionality of short term worriers.
The really painful thing will be looking back to the time it dipped and despite our faith in the technology we bailed at a huge loss only to find our original assessment-vision turned out to be exactly how we originally assumed it would. Talk about regret ;)
