Will Bitcoin Cash Overtake Bitcoin?

Bitcoin Cash has just had the most incredible weekend. For a short while, it even overtook Ethereum as the #2 cryptocurrency in the world in terms of total market cap.

With such incredible momentum (in the short term at least), the question becomes whether Bitcoin Cash (BCH) could overtake Bitcoin (BTC) as the leading cryptocurrency?

    bitcoin may wont be used for small transactions but surely for big holdings. bitcoin will be what gold in the fiat world is right now

    Bitcoin has become politicalized. 2nd generation blockchains will be more likely to be used in mass. I am putting my money behind Vitalik with previous years BTC earnings. If I have to choose BTC vs. BCH longterm, game theory suggest that Bitcoin Cash would become the Bitcoin since miners will constantly move over to BCH to mine over time. Cash has better chance to be accepted as payment therefore further increasing its utility and value. The currency is only good as the utility it offers.

      The solution was described by Satoshi. #BCH adheres to that solutuon. Segwit does not.

      The transaction fees for BTC is increasing, between 25 to 100 USD.

      Bitcoin Cash is the solution in my opinion

        Linear solution for exponential problem??? Take it from mathematician, that ain't going to work for long. Sure, it is faster at the moment, but for how long.

            There are some interesting aspects of BCH that make it more appealing than BTC but I don't think anyone is going to dethrone the king. But I am sure thats what everyone says before a king is dethroned
