Bitcoin Trend Series / EP. 581 / Anemic Range / Steem Bounty Reward
Time: 7.45 A.M. / GM+2 / 3rdMay 2018 – Thurs.
Bitcoin price has been climbing in April towards 9.767K, as we expected on 24 April in our post / 572 / and continues to fluctuate within the anemic range of 8.999K - 9.292K. A deeper bearish correction from the current range, will be healthy for the bull trend on long term.
Tax season recently came to an end, and there was much publicity about the taxability of cryptocurrency profits. Specifically, bitcoin is considered property and are therefore subject to capital gains tax, like stocks and other types of investments. You might owe tax on your bitcoins, even if you didn't sell them. Fact You May Not Know! Keep this in mind, if you bought $100 worth of bitcoin years ago, and use it to buy a $1,500 computer, the $1,400 difference is also considered a capital gain.
Based on bitcoin history ( Sell in May and Go Away ) most likely the Bearish wave will continue. But this May will use the upcoming pull back as a buy opportunity. So keep a watchful eye out for opportunities to Buy Mt. Gox Crypto Dip.
- In our previous post / 580 / we had forecast the trading range will be between 8.350K and 9.384K. The intraday high was 9.292K and the low was 8.999K.
- No Change in our forecast as we still expect that the price will visit the 7.50K - 8.00K ( Early May ) area to build our Inverted Head & Shoulders Pattern, as we wrote in our previous post / 573 / before the continuation of the bull trend towards 12.40K ( Early June ) and only clear break or close above 9.911K will cancel our scenario.
We will continue to suggest the Slighty Bearish Trend Associated With Swingy Move in the upcoming period conditioned by the price stability below April high at 9.767K.
Support 1: 8643.000 level.
Resistance1 : 9384.00 level.
Support 2: 8350.000 level.
Resistance2 : 9767.000 level.

is between 8350.00 and 9384.00.

Slighty Bearish.
Medium Term:
Bullish.
Long Term:
Bullish.

To me it looks like its alts fomo is keeping BTC from dropping much lately. He lost decent cut of market share last month from 45% to under 36%. Within this week picture for BTC should get clearer will he follow alts or will whole market drop with him.
