Guy finds 72 Bitcoins he Forgot About and Calls it Bad News!
There have been a few stories of people who forgot of their bitcoins or hard drives then found them on 2013 bubble and become instant rich.
The most famous was about guy from Norway who bought 29USD of Bitcoin then found them when they were worth 886 000 USD.
The other story was little bit more upsetting - guy thrown drive with 4 million GBP worth of BTC into trash. There were 7500 BTC on it. The drive had his password so person who gets it would still need him. He have put a bounty for it but it was never found.
Now today we have another story. Guy found his old drive with QT wallet and started syncing it.
Initially he saw he had loads but with blockchain updating up to 2013 (for now) he ended up with 72 BTC which are worth around 50-60 000 USD now.
His reaction was unusual:
