      Without doing any research whatsoever I can say that if there was any FIAT involved while launching the cryptocurrency, then it is indeed a security... This is why I've been against presale events with all cryptocurrencies I have been involved in. It's OK to exchange any other cryptocurrency for the new one, but exchanging FIAT for the new cryptocurrency is hard no-no...
