Bitcoin finally moves to the Top Spot on Weiss and Steem holds steady in the Top 20

Bitcoin finally got to the spot many have thought it should had been in all along.

Weiss Crypto Ratings recently announced they have upgraded bitcoin to an A- rating, which can be seen here:

This upgrade gives bitcoin the highest rating and puts it at the very top of their ratings list...

When the ratings first launched roughly 2 years ago, bitcoin was much further down the list, receiving a C- grade.

Which, interestingly enough is lower than the grade Steem currently has...

Steem holds within the Top 20

The latest look at Weiss shows steem is holding within the Top 20 spots, currently receiving a grade of C+...

This is a lower rating than steem received initially roughly 2 years ago when these ratings launched, but not by much.

It received a B- rating back then.

The only difference is that the B- rating put it in a tie for 3rd place at the time.

Only EOS and Tether were ranked higher.

EOS sliding...

Interestingly enough EOS is now ranked lower than steem...

Something that I never hate to see...

It's pretty rare to see steem rated higher than EOS in just about any ranking really.

So yea, it's always nice to see :)

The ratings slide had to do with a recent downgrade by Weiss due to centralization in the project.
