Germany didn't think it would happen either...

We all have read about the war but there was more than just the war going on...

Germany experience massive inflation at that time to the point where paper money was literally worthless.

People were asking to be paid 2x per day in order to sell that money for goods before it dropped in value even more later that day.

People were even using the paper money stacks to heat their homes to stay alive...

Back then paper money actually had some paper in it and burned well.

The US doesn't think we can ever experience something similar, well neither did Germany.

This is why bitcoin matters.
