WELL Attends North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami

WELL founders Ildar Fazulyanov and Alex Prokhorov were at the North American Bitcoin Conference in Miami last week, meeting with potential partners and those interested in purchasing tokens in the upcoming ICO. The event, part of the World Blockchain Forum: Investments & ICOs, was attended by approximately 4,000 people. Main conference highlights included discussions of cryptocurrency trends, developments in blockchain technology, and marketing the new evolution of the ICO.

WELL also experienced several personal highlights, meeting with Tai Lopez, celebrity investor and advisor to over 20 multi-million dollar businesses, whose podcast gets approximately 800,000 downloads a month; Slava Baikalov of Qurrex, the first hybrid crypto exchange; and Bitcoin evangelist Chris DeRose. Conversations with potential contributors made clear that the future of ICOs is with companies that have real products (such as WELL) powered by blockchain, as opposed to tokenized ideas projected onto blockchain. And WELL was a standout among contributors eager to enter the healthcare arena with companies that already have a working product in place, have global impact, and are driven by a team with strong business experience. In addition, Ildar and Alex were able to speak with several healthcare clinics, doctors, and contributors who have already expressed interested in partnering with WELL.

A driving force of WELL’s business is its strong social mission, which donates a doctor’s visit for every visit purchased through its platform. It was especially meaningful then, for WELL to meet with ImpactPPA, which won top ICO honors at the conference, and which aims to make renewable energy available across the globe. ImpactPPA was at the conference with representatives from the Ministry of Energy of Haiti, where the product is being piloted, and WELL had the exciting opportunity to speak with both ImpactPPA and the ministry of Haiti about bringing WELL’s charitable arm to Haiti, delivering mobile healthcare to Haitian residents that lack the means and transportation to travel to see doctors.
