What is the first crypto did you invested in?

The first cryptocurrency that I invested in was Ethereum.

Here is my story:

4th of July Weekend 2016:

One of my friends, lets call him Daniel, mentioned it when we were having lunch at Ceasar Palace Buffet in Las Vegas. We were talking about how much money we would have if we invested $100 in Bitcoin back in 2008. He mentioned that there is another cryptocurrency like Bitcoin and it has an interesting concept. At the time, I don't think I remember the name of said cryptocurrency.

February 2017:

I wanted to socialize with new people, so I went to a bar in Santa Monica where they were having a tech social. I was talking to a guy and he mentioned about this thing called "Ethereum", he said it's suppose to be the next Bitcoin. The word "Ethereum" stuck with me. On my drive back home, I looked for an Ethereum podcast on iTunes and I listened to it. I have no idea what they were talking about. When I got home, read some articles and videos about Ethereum and Bitcoin. The concept was really hard to wrap my head around (I'm getting better at understanding blockchain technology and cryptocurrency).

February 2017 (the next week):

I went to a Hammer Museum where they have an exhibit of Ethereum. I was in there for quite some inside the exhibit reading about Ethereum and smart contract. I went outside and I checked the price of Ethereum, it was between $10 and $11 per coin. When I got home, I message Daniel and I told him about the Ethereum exhibit. For whatever reason, I still haven't bought some, even though Daniel told me to use CoinBase to buy it.

March 2017:

Daniel message me, asking if I have bought some Ethereum. I have not. I checked the price and he told me that the price of Ethereum is at $40. I decided that I need to follow my intuition, so I went ahead and set up my CoinBase account and bought some Ethereum every week until I decided that the price is getting way too high (I was wrong.. it keeps going up! HODL)
