Accelerate UNCONFIRMED Bitcoin Transactions
Having a problem with UNCONFIRMED Bitcoin transactions?
Recently bitcoin fees have been rather high, 0.0015BTC or higher. That's more than $20. And if you pay less, then your transaction can get stuck and stay unconfirmed for hours or days.
ESPECIALLY if you do that transaction from a crypto exchange, where they don't let you to choose the transaction fee. Some of them have transaction fees 0.0008BTC or less, which results in a great deal of delay.
What's even worse, some smaller crypto exchanges, like Yobit.io charge you a small transaction fee, and then KEEP THE FEE and put your transaction on the blockchain with NO FEES attached at all. And that can keep it unconfirmed FOR SEVERAL DAYS. And that's no fun when you have a significant amount of bitcoin stuck in cyberspace for days, without knowing when it'll get confirmed.
If that happens to you, there are several services that can UNSTUCK IT, by accelerating the confirmation. Here are two of those:
One is http://confirmtx.com/
They charge a small fee which you can change, but it defaults to $5. They're rather slow, in that it can take a day or two to get that confirmation. BTW, once a transaction has ONE confirmation, the other confirmations will follow within an hour or so, since the first confirmation gets it into a block, and there it can't be ignored anymore.
Second one is at http://btc.com
These guys are FAST, but they also aren't cheap. It cost me $71 to get a 0.4BTC transaction confirmed, but they pushed it through within MINUTES after they got my payment. Of course you don't wanna pay them with bitcoin if your exchange has problems with getting those transfers confirmed, but they take ETHER and Bitcoin Cash which work well even if sent from a lousy crypto exchange. And what you do at btc.com is that you put the transaction ID into the search field and hit enter. If that transaction is unconfirmed, they got a red button there to ACCELERATE the transaction.
Oh and you have to give them the bitcoin TRANSACTION ID. That can be found by a search at Blockchain.info, by putting the receiving address into the search field.

Nowdays biggest problem on btc is high fees and transaction delay

Bitcoin is already outdated technology, buy STEEM, EOS and BITSHARES.
Bitcoin will always be a KING of crypto currencies. Even now it holds about 50% marketshare, more than any other crypto. Any problems are temporary which will vanish when the Lightning network arrives and makes it super fast.

That's because you paid a super low fee. Most of the time a $3 fee will get your transaction confirmed within 24 hours. Yesterday I paid a $7.50 fee and it was confirmed in less than an hour.
Is it possible for a miner to choose what fees he wants or is it automatic?

How much was your transaction. Ofcourse if you send $10000 in BTC 7.50 is no big deal but if you are sending 20 then that is a whole other story.

Sure it does, you just gotta pay higher fees to get your transactions confirmed. And high transactions make MINING bitcoin MORE profitable. So you can either cry about high fees or join the miners and smile all the way to your bitcoin wallet :-)
Yeah, only that no one will do that and they are shoveling their own grave because everyone use literally anything else.
For example me, I use Bitcoin Cash now for everything.

Bitcoin is very useful. The reason why transaction fees are high sometimes, is because a LOT of people use it. And once the Lightning network arrives, it'll be super fast.
