Bitcoin is up for grabs in this season of trading. Many were excited about the upcoming decision of the Van Eck ETF. The SEC, unfortunately, announced a delay in the decision, which made several investors panic. Many feel they are overreacting to a price jump that didn't have a guarantee in the first place. It doesn't look good for Bitcoin, since the last Asset Class to get SEC ETF approval was Copper (and that took 10,000 years of copper usage). Nevertheless it's gonna be a little while longer.
Bitcoin, cryptocurrency in a whole, took a blow today when the Saudi Arabian government decided to ban it's citizens from using it. The Saudi Prince Al-Waleed bin Talal, who has as recent as October called Bitcoin a "fraud," formed a committee to look into Bitcoin that included top level ministerial government bodies of the Saudi government.
Don't sell just yet. In all, bitcoin is not gonna die tomorrow, and there are several other upcoming dates that could give the price a moonshot (plus the SEC hasn't decided yet). Bitcoin is going to grow like it always has. Will it be as valuable as Berkshire Hathaway, I don't know. What I do know is that it's just as strong today, as it was in December of last year.
