Vyper is an experimental language that is much simpler than Solidity. It may not include some of Solidity's instruments, but it is more human-oriented. This criterion has recently been taken (by specialists) more seriously, because the development of applications is becoming more popular. Therefore, it is possible that the team will be looking for new solutions for its blockchain and smart contracts, one of which will become Vyper.
