Bitcoin Price Forecast 2/14/2018
Someone let the bull loose!
Current Market Cap: $450.19B (+$21.34 in two days) Bitcoin Dominance: 34.7%(+0.1%)
With great news coming from every direction today the entire market is surging. The US Congress had a meeting to discuss potential uses for blockchain and its future. South Korea has essentially given the thumbs up for crypto again, as a public petition was put into place to prevent unfair regulations. Litepay has announced that it will launch in less than two weeks- allowing fiat to Litecoin transactions. Source
Hacked exchange Coincheck has also unfrozen funds after the largest hack in HISTORY where XEM was stolen from various hot wallets used by the site. This led to over $370 million being withdrawn from their site, which undoubtedly made its way into other markets. Not to mention that the Lightning Network is now in alpha phase and conducting transactions on their test-net. Source
Progress will still be slow and steady as we enter this new technological age.
Today I'm using three different trading tools and indicators: Bollinger Bands, Stochastics and MACD.
Bollinger Bands are showing we are above the moving average which is just under $9K
Stochastics indicate we are in overbought conditions and could fall back down at any time.
MACD shows we are way above the zero line and tapering down.
Likely Scenarios:
- BTC continues to rise up towards $9,600-$9,800 before dropping back to the high $8K to low $9K range.
- BTC falls back down to the $9K moving average and continues upwards attempting $10K by tomorrow.
- A massive surge in buy volumes pushes the price past $10K up toward $10.5K before correcting.
TLDR Version:
There is a lot of good news going on in this space right now that is going help the market to recover. Watch for any profit taking around the high $9K-10K zone. Resistance is around $9,5K-$10K with new support forming in the high $8K-low $9K range.

I guess the most likely scenario is that one: A massive surge in buy volumes pushes the price past $10K up toward $10.5K before correcting. and i see it as a wave (v)

Great article, and I noticed over the past 8 hrs of especially low volume the price moved over $370...with the trend showing stronger support that the past week, I suggest we'll see BTC at $9,740 by 3a.m. 2/15/2018...Chalk it up to a Valentine's BTC Bounce after all have had their dinner, flowers, chocolate, and lovin'!!
That energy may progress into a buying frenzy to push the BTC to its maintenance $10,110 level by noontime.
Either way, that ALTs will follow, and I am strong on ELF, NAS, and JNT.

thank man, good day at the market today. LTC is moving high maybe because of LTC cash? And then will drop soon after you think?You have alot whales upvote, is that worth it? I used randowhale and didn't seem to profit from it
