Exploring Altcoins – What’s Iconomi?

Iconomi is a crypto trader’s dream. It’s essentially an open fund management platform for cryptocurrencies.

So with one click you’ll be able to multiple cryptos. And Iconomi provides safe storage of your digital assets.

Each portfolio manager will be able to create their own digital asset array, or DAA for short. Supporters can then invest in the DAA’s of their choice. So basically DAA is just a fancy way of saying cryptocurrency portfolio.

Iconomi has their own DAA’s. One is ICNX which is like a crypto index fund. The fund is updated monthly and according to their website represents 92% of the total market capitalization of all digital assets. You can see what’s in the index here.

They also have ICNP, which is their performance fund. It’s actively managed and invests in the best distributed economy startups according to its team. You can see what’s in the portfolio here. Some of their investments include Golem (GNT), WeTrust (TRST), iExec (RLC), and Aragon (ANT).

Right now Iconomi is in the process of migrating all Iconomi ICO accounts to the new platform. Details are here.

If you were an ICO participant you can now sign up to the platform, see your ICN balance, and deposit and withdraw tokens.

If you were a beta tester you can now do that plus deposit and withdraw BTC and ETH and buy and sell the ICNX digital asset array.

There’s also a new app available for Apple users. No word on an Android app yet.
