Money For Nothing

That's right, every day in the afternoon report I will feature a way to get some cryptocurrency for free or nearly so. Today I'm going to show you how to get a little time bit of cryptocurrency just by solving a Captcha. I'm talking of course about a crypto faucet. "What's a crypto faucet", you ask? Well a couple years ago they were all the rage as a way to distribute cryptocurrencies to new users. They almost all died out about a year and a half ago when bitcoin prices started rising. But for a while there were dozens and dozens of them.

Today I'm going to show you a relatively new one that was started about two months ago. Moon Dash!

It starts out paying a very small amount of Dash, but if you visit it at least once a day, you get a Daily Loyalty Bonus which increases every day, so that after 100 days you're earning double the normal amount of Dash. There is also Mystery Bonus which pays 1-100% bonus with every claim. You can also receive up to 100% bonus for referrals. Which added all together means you can potentially earn 4x the normal claim. You must wait at least 5 minutes between claims, but I tend to wait about 2-3 hours to allow the claim amount to increase.

Moon Dash is part of the family of Moon faucets that have been around for several years and I have personally used for over two years. They pay reliably. All you need to do is sign up for an account with your email and start collecting every day and watch your Dash holdings grow.

The best part about a faucet is, it is completely free! You may not get a lot, but if Dash keeps going up the way it did last year, even this small amount may be worth a lot in a year or two.

The Report

The broad cryptocurrency market is having mixed results this afternoon. Just over half the top 100 cryptos are in the green this afternoon. Only a small handful of cryptos are moving significantly in either direction, with 1-2% changes from yesterday the norm.

After a strong move upward this morning, Bitcoin has mostly drifted this afternoon, never making any significant move in either direction. Currently it is at $11,233, up about 1.5% in the last 24 hours.

Steem and SBD continue to have a very good day with Steem currently $5.74, up over 30% from this time yesterday, while SBD is $7.20, up over 8% in the last 24 hours. Here's hoping they continue the momentum back up to the highs of a few weeks ago.

After yesterdays massive jump in the supply of liquid Steem, todays increase seems almost insignificant by comparison. But an increase in the liquid supply of almost 200,000 is definitely not trivial. This continued increase is a definite sign that some whales have decided it's a good time to liquidate some of their holdings, or at least move a portion to a liquid asset so that they can cash out when the time is right. I'll continue to keep an eye on the supply and let you know how it changes.
