Interesting Projects: 808 Coin, Adzbuzz, and Other Money Opportunities
We all love Steemit (or at least most of us who use it regularly). It is a great way to earn money in the form of Steem while creating content. But here are a few other interesting sites and projects (at least in my opinion) that can supplement our Steemit activities. Without further ado, here are said opportunities.
808 Coin
808 Coin (sometimes referred to as BassCoin) is a POS (proof of stake) coin. This means you can mine this coin without having a bitcoin miner or any mining hardware. All you need is to get their wallet software, and have coins deposited there. They mature after 8 days, which is when you are expected to "unlock" the wallet (so it can engage in staking process). Its name comes from the 808 Roland mixer back in the early 1980s. This coin gives a 808% return yearly, which is around 17% or so every 8.08 days (yes, eight days and a few hours).
About 9 days ago I managed to buy 106K of these coins (around 20 satoshis each) and today, when I unlocked my wallet software and staked for an hour or so, I won 19K, bringing my total coins up to 125K. Its cool like that.

Adzbuzz
Adzbuzz is a social network where you can connect with other people, post content, share content, and invite others, and you will earn Adzcoins, which remain in pending state for 30 days, then you can use or sell them as you wish. HoboNickels
HoboNickels is a proof of stake cryptocoin that has been around for a while, but it seems interesting, as it earns 2% profit every ten days, and thus I am also checking it out. Can be traded at Cryptopia
A good place to stake this coin so you don't need to keep a wallet software running on your machine is BtcPop

BtcPop has worked for me thus far, and 808 coin has generated some nice coins for me. :)
Checking out HoboNickels it seems to be fine too. Only one that I am still waiting on is AdzBuzz, but that is because I have not undergone the pending time yet.

They don't support 808 right now though. But they support HoboNickels and many others.

Yeah the mature waiting time... But I think it was put in place to help the coin keep its value at least for a while.
prolly but worth the wait, im calculating buying .066 btc worth of 808 which i believe is 300000 atm, which should net me 56000 808 staked which is about .012 btc which is about 50$ profit ?!?!?! you suggest this or is 808 a not that trustworthy coin to risk that much?

See... Generally speaking, I tend to distrust everything. I thought I was into 808 for a short while and then I would move on, but turns out that the 808 community has actually grown, more exchanges trade it, and wallets exist for almost all operating systems except maybe mobile. So I think 808 is a good bet. As with everything, proceed with caution. And remember, in order to stake, you actually need to install a wallet on your computer. Just leaving the coins in an exchange will not generate new coins. Make sure all is OK, make some small transfers, and once you see it all works, you can try to go bigger.
Nice and yes, i stake gridcoin from time to time to get my POR, but GRC is 1.5 apr, not a whole lot, but this 808 has alot, and i read a little bit on bitcointalk and it seemed to grow just this past couple of months, too bad exchanges font stake for you lol
There have been some exchanges that actually stake the coins for you. Not sure if for 808 right now, though...
What about HyperStake (HYP)? Anyone tried it? They claim 750% APR

Ive seen a couple though, i just dont know about leaving that many coins inside one
Appreciate you writing about 808coin. I am currently trying to get word out about it because in my opinion it is the BEST pos coin out. You can literally make thousands of dollars as long as people keep buying the coin and volume has been increasing lately. Im currently staking 1.1M 808coins and im about to buy another 1M! The only risk really is if people decide to get up and say hell no we arent buying 808coin but ive been watching closely for the past 2 months and it doesnt look like that is happening.
In fact I think I saw some people mention about using the 808 coin to back up some shares at some company or something. Don't got the details, though. Lets stay tuned! :)

BtcPop is a site where you can leave proof of stake coins and they will slowly grow. They don't seem to support 808 as of yet, but works great for HoboNickels and similar.
808 stakes fairly quick and easy even if you do it yourself. 20K coins or so will probably stake within the next two days after maturity period is completed.
I once tried staking blackcoin but no luck
Blackcoin and most coins are fairly hard to stake you would need to have huge amounts of coins for it to work well. 808 stakes much easier. Still need around 20K or so blackcoins for it to start being good but the coin is very affordable all in all.
