ARK is pleased to announce another great achievement, the launch of the long-awaited ARK mobile wallet. Packed with exciting and optimized features, the wallet looks poised for widespread adoption of the ARK ecosystem.
You can now vote for a delegate, send ARK or simply check your balance directly from the palm of your hand. You don't need synchronization, just open the application and run your business. ARK's mobile wallet is a hybrid application (using the same code base for Android and iOS which helps with coordinated development).
Created using the Ionic framework and ARK TypeScript API to interact with the ARK network through your mobile phone, anytime, anywhere, the ARK wallet is optimized and will change the way we send ARK for life. The ARK wallet is still in a Beta version, so you may find some peculiarities and errors while checking it out. Give it a twist and please send your feedback so that ARK can improve the wallet in upcoming releases.
NOTABLE CHARACTERISTICS
Import your existing passphrase (by QR function or type/paste).
Generate a new passphrase.
Encrypt access to your profile with a personalized 6-digit PIN (AES256 + PBKDF2).
Most types of transactions are available: sending, receiving, voting, not voting, registering a delegate.
Connect to the main network and development network.
Option for additional profiles (separate profiles for different ARK addresses or networks).
Option to easily add contacts and make transactions with them.
Total balance of your combined ARK addresses.
Backup wallet: Enter your selected PIN to decipher your wallet and get a view of your private data.
Change PIN: If you want to change your encryption/decryption PIN, you can change it easily.
Delete data: you can delete all your data from the phone (note: this will also delete all your wallets, so if you haven't already done so, you must back up).

CONFIGURING THE ARK WALLET FOR ANDROID

Or go to Google Play store from your mobile wallet and search for' Mobile ARK' - install. Requires Android 4.1+ to work.
ARK WALLET SETTING FOR IOS:
1- Installing Ionic View - Testing ionic applications
2- Open and click on the eye at the bottom.
3- Enter ID 0894ffa2 and "View Application".
This is currently an alternative solution as it is still awaited by Apple's approval (which is very strict with financial and cryptocurrency applications). When final approval for the iOS App Store is obtained, it will be communicated through social channels. The QR scanner also does not support' Ionic View - Test Ionic Apps', so it will not work in iOS.
THE FUTURE OF THE ARK WALLET.
In the coming months, ARK will perfect the mobile wallet with the contribution of ARK developers and users. They also aim to integrate:
Nano S LEDger support via OTG (On-the-Go) cable/adapter.
Dark theme.
Add an option to add custom network types (e. g. your own ARK-based string or, for example, Kapu, Blockpool,...) from just one IP address: use the ARK purse for any current or future ARK-based blockchain project!
Possibility of allowing your fingerprint to act as a PIN to unlock your purse (optional, of course).
Notifications of received transactions.
Add more locations (you can help translate the ARK mobile wallet into your local language).
