As a matter of fact, many speculate on the character, as if Satoshi really exists or not. One really has to wonder about McAfee's bullishness while getting rid of all his mining equipment. As to Mcafee getting rid of his mining equipment, so what? Mining equipment has a pretty short profitable lifespan and he has been mining for 2 years. Maybe by dumping his unprofitable miners he realized some cash. What we don't know is how much bitcoin he holds. His mining operation net him a few hundred bitcoin which is a pretty fair amount , a few million dollars worth. Maybe that's all he wants to hold.
