Makes you think, huh...

Maybe that's bound to happen when you take a decentralized asset and try to convert it into a centralized one, without telling it.

Forking Bitcoin is a very, very difficult thing to do. Even when you hold a lot of hashing power.

Was hoping it would do a little better than this but im not suprised. Once/if it receives more third party support i expect it to go back up a bit, but maybe not with the upcoming forks. They may be

Sorry don't know of a better way to contact you @dragosroua, but looks like post rewards aren't working on steem.supply.

Correct analysis...

Once all these forked pseudobitcoins go belly up I hope others will lose their appetite for things hardforks.

@dragosroua,
Wow that's great! Green again and I think now it's BTC time of RED :D

Cheers~

Steem bounced a little bit, I bought some more, down to 25 in market cap now

My opinion holds: over time, every BTC forks are going to have in decline. There is little to no reason to invest them, brand recognition isn't enough here, so people will only leave.

Short-term, it may not be the case, but in the large scope, I don't think these forks have any future.

Prove me if I'm wrong, though.

the main btc will rule them all !

Hi @dragosroua, I couldn't understand the reason:

Maybe that's bound to happen when you take a decentralized asset and try to convert it into a centralized one, without telling it.

Forking Bitcoin is a very, very difficult thing to do. Even when you hold a lot of hashing power.

Can you explain?

Bitcoin Cash is a Bitcoin hardfork initiated by an interest group, including mining pools and mining producing equipments. It's a very centralized approach towards crypto.

Another reason they'll bite the dust, if you ask me.

Thanks @dragosroua for your explanation. Can we predict the same outcome for upcoming BTG coin?

My opinion is yes, we can...

I see. Before this discussion with you, I had an opinion about Bitcoin that they are creating their own coins to expand their authority in the crypto world. I mean if we see different types of Bitcoins in the top 10 list at coinmarketcap, that means Bitcoin can shake the crypto world at any time the way it's doing these days with just one annoucement. So, this was my understanding that you changed entirely. Thank You. I'm new to crypto world and trying to understand how things work. I hope you don't mind my immature questions.

No worries. Nobody was born a sage. We all learn. It's good to ask questions, listen to everybody and then make your own opinion, because everybody, me included, can be wrong.

Whereas Bitcoin is run by a core team of a few software developers who will centralize all the segwit data.

So it is difficult to imagine how you can point to Bitcoin Cash and call it centralized but your timing is obviously perfect.
