Centralized Exchanges moving to blockchain based exchange called Decentralized Exchange

Binance just recently announced that they will soon move into a more secured blockchain based exchange called decentralized exchange. For us, this isn't something new. Decentralized Exchange has been running for quite some years now with Bitshares Decentralized Excahnge. As SEC moves to regulate cryptos, these centralized exchanges must follow to comply with everything and the only way to do this is by moving their exchange into blockchain. Some are happy about this, some thinks that this move will result into a loss of users on some Decentralized Exchanges. But for me, it's nothing new.

Even if Binance decides to create a decentralized Exchange all their assets will still be stored into a single wallet since most of their assets are using PoW instead of DPoW. It's like remodelling the outside of their stablishment but still do dirty tricks inside their department. Nothing will change excepts that it's decentralized!

Bitshares DEX is way way more advance than this. Since Bitshares most assets are running on it's own blockchain unlike Binance that will still have major problem when it comes to this. For example Bitshares have great platforms like Zephyr, QUINT, Bitcoin Latina and so on.

Anyway, this is a great move for Binance following Bitshares idea about Decentralization. Making transactions more transparent than ever. Maybe not that secure, but atleast transparent to everyone.
