A true fact indeed, If this new altcoins started from the bottom (foundation) we wouldn't see half of them reaching the public...
What I mean is, many of this projects have good teams behind and skilled, but you won´t be very effective if you never tried to do the basics; Everybody is exploring and "abusing" what Bitcoin developers worked for.

This will, obviously, be translated in mistakes, that later cause problems like many hacks we heard about, miss functioning, etc...
