yeah, so far it looks like they will be around the same price as rx5xx, but with their costs and warranty lowered. they don't know who buys their cards until they are out of stock but we're the dummies?
i will still be fine with it if i can easily select presets for hash algos in the uefi or set clocks and voltages manually in the uefi as long as they don't skimp on fans and coolers and the cards actually last 3 yrs or more. also, they need to choose cards that allow mining various hash algos instead of choosing base cards that only work best for dagger-hashimoto like ETH (soon to be ETC due to The Flippening: part deux) is the only coin that matters. i would still be satisfied (for now) if they have one card each optimized for dagger-hashimoto and equihash. i could manage waiting a little while for custom setting in uefi if these two algos were covered properly. these manufacturers tend to be quite the whores when it comes to what they choose to support. let's hope they can see more than a month out at a time...
