Or it simply was profit-taking. I expected it to start at the magical $10,000 price but it last more than half a day and ~$1,500. Smart money was to sell some above $11,000 and buy it back when it settled down. Of course, market timing is rarely advised... except maybe in markets with rampant speculation and price fluctuation.
