Bitcoin SegWit2x Update: BIP91 locked-in!
At the current signalling period 269 blocks are signalling BIP91 which means the 80% threshold has been reached!
Now we will enter the 2 day lock-in period after which the BIP91 will be activated:
It means that we're on a right way to activate SegWit - the biggest and most important upgrade to the Bitcoin protocol since its creation.
This will allow us to transfer Bitcoin faster, cheaper, more secure but even more important - it will allow us to build additional applications on top of Bitcoin network. For example the Lighting Network - click to read more.

After so much time Bitcoin is finally moving forward. I was beginning to worry its technology will just become outdated and it will get ran over by other cryptos. But BTC is still the king. You better believe it.
