Nice Rumor
Hi Friends,
I am sure you saw the rumor that Amazon would start accepting bitcoin payments!
Bitcoin proceeds to pop on good news, including this one, but it turns out - it was fake news:
To me, its really not a story at all. There plenty of ways to use bitcoin to buy things on Amazon outside of sending Bitcon directly to them (ie: Payment services like paypal, bitcoin credit cards, wallet services like Bitpay, etc).
It is sad they are not willing to get with the times though. I have used direct BTC transfers on purchases for Overstock for a few years now.
So, nice rumor, now let's hold these higher prices!

I believe this is part of another big money pump-and-dump scheme. Bitcoin and other crypto currencies are used to launder money for banks and hedge funds.
Look at the correlation of Bitcoin and other crypto currencies. They all move the same way. Blockchaincenter.net
We're talking movements in the billions of dollars in these large price swings across many currencies simultaneously. Most of us using crypto are moving at most a few thousand dollars per transaction in a single currency like BTC. How could the average user ever create price swings this big?
I don't believe they can. The only entities with these kinds of resources are banks and hedge funds.
