Foreword:

The market in the last three months was not really safely tradeable and not holdable without losses either. If you held through with the January HODL list you most likely won't be in loss or even in profit. Remember to always set a stop loss at a point you think the coin won't reach or should not reach. This is the point of cashing out in a crash. If you prefer just HODLing it through you should closely watch your trades as you approach the line you set and decide at the moment if it's best to hold or to sell and rebuy later. I personally never sell in a flash crash. Either do I rebuy the coins I want to stock up on or move money into coins that dropped the most from coins that dropped the least. Anyways. I hope everyone enjoyed the last HODL list and preferably will be enjoying this HODL list as well.

Back to the post:

These are the coins I consider the most interesting in the next month. I will be giving short explanations below the coin names so you know why I consider these. I will also be dividing the post into exchanges as I did with the last post. This allows for nice readability and quickly catching up with the updates that will come this month to the trades.

So let's start with the biggest Parts of the Portfolio. (the high Volume coins)

1. NEO (NEO)

NEO or ETH. It's a difficult pill to take. While ETH is easier to develop a dApp on because of the lower cost to deploy a smart contract, NEO is significantly faster.
Also, the development structure is focused in other ways.
In short: Ethereum is developing in response to demands. NEO is developing in anticipation of future demands.
Also, a pretty cool project that is uprising lately and probably a GEM if you consider going big in NEO is ONT which stands for Ontology. ONT is developing modules for the NEO platform.

I personally think that NEO won't overtake ETH but will increase significantly in the long term and it's a safe bet for the next month or two.

2. Cardano (ADA)

While ADA is basically not ready to be used it offers a good amount of updates for the next time. Take a look at the Cardano Roadmap!
The Testnet launch is a big thing and the roadmap update will bring a lot of different topics that will make the crypto space cheer up. Cardano is a revolutionizing project that is technologically most thought through. As there are alternatives to it anyways I will continue naming these.

3. EOS (EOS)

EOS is an alternative for ADA. It's still in ICO because it was started as a 1-year long ICO. After the ICO the EOS tokens will be frozen and non-transferable so I highly recommend you to move this coin to a hardware wallet and away from exchanges. You will have to register an EOS keypair on the EOS website in order to access your EOS tokens on the EOS Blockchains that will be launched in the future. This is a gamble because Block One is NOT forced to launch a blockchain using the EOS Project. EOSscan can tell you the actual ICO period which you will need to claim for.

4. Lisk (LSK)

Lisk is a platformer that is developing heavily. They are also working on education about blockchain tech which is a great thing. Lisk Academy They will be speaking on the Consensus in New York and hopefully announce something cool. Also, there is a really massive team behind it and 17 people will join the team in the upcoming months.

That's about it for the big ones.

As most people here still use Bittrex as one of their main exchanges and Bittrex is getting more attractive again because of the new UI and all the good stuff lately - here we go.
Either you stock up on the above mentioned high volume coins on this exchange or you try to catch the coins that are always going with the hype. A good idea is to go on arbitrage on the hype days between the big exchanges like Upbit, Bithumb, Huobi, OKEx, and Bittrex. Especially good for this task are the following coins which I personally DO NOT HOLD LONGER THAN A DAY!!!:

Hyped in Telegram Chats, Channels, Pump groups, Twitter... Literally everywhere. Every type of news makes this coin pump even days before the news are announced. Even if announcements are announced the coin pumps. But as the coin rises it comes down again. So stay at your computer while you're in TRX. This is a dangerous pick. There may be a lot of good resources out there on why TRX is a bad long-term pick but here is my try: It's just too much marketing. If everyone knows already about a project you should ask yourself if it's really a good time to invest. Especially in a hype. This is not an investment, this is gambling. If you know what you are doing you can do a quick buck. But if you know there will be some more shilling in the next few days and TRX is in a massive dip you can stock up too because again - It will go up on hype. This is inevitable

This again is one of the most hyped and shilled coins out there. Everything said for TRX goes for Verge (XVG) too.

Special picks

Here are some coins which I would consider gems with a very big potential which is yet unseen by many. They are either tech wise revolutionary, have a specific aspect or use case which could have a real-world impact or have been around for some time unnoticed because they did not do anything about their marketing.

1. Wanchain (WAN)

A short explanation from Bitcoinmagazine: Wanchain, an innovative digital platform curated by the Chinese firm Wanglu Tech, shows promise as a framework for building a decentralized financial market. Wanchain’s model for distributed financial infrastructure allows the exchange of assets across different blockchain networks; the native cryptocurrency, “Wancoin,” will serve as an intermediate currency for the exchanges. 2. Cindicator (CND)

Cindicator is an ecosystem of predictive analytics, data, and indicators powered by Hybrid Intelligence to support traditional and crypto financial markets analysis for the efficient management of investors’ capital in traditional financial and crypto-markets. If you hold a certain amount of CND tokens in your wallet and register it with the Cindicator bot (staking it basically) you will be eligible to get signals generated by the hybrid intelligence. Traders make psychological and TA based picks and on higher accuracy in their history, they will be weighted more towards the results of the indicator sent by Cindicator. This almost guarantees that the results are really what the market thinks on a psychological level. This not only helps to invest more safely but also makes it easy to get ideas on what is interesting at the moment. The ICO rating that comes with Trader and Expert Tier is also a big thing. A lot of quality ICOs are in there. So either if you're a trader or investor this is something for you. With the increasing interest in trading AI and cryptocurrencies, this project is going to attract a LOT of people. And the higher bots are more likely to get bought by hedge-fonds. Be fast and HODL. 3. Loom Network (LOOM)

A project that is trying to ease the hard entry into dApp programming. This project did a lot for the developer community. They share good tutorials, try to develop their own dApp Platform for games and social apps utilizing Blockchain and even have a working product. This is pretty cool. At least I think it's cool. You should definitely take a look at it yourself. Site here!
