Will The Avalon Bring Back Mining Stability ?

One of the core things going on with bitcoin lately is with ASIC only big or very rich company's/people are able to afford enough hashing power to make it worth mining. Simply buying on ASIC is going to land you a few thousand and most likely become obsolete within a few months.
However a new company called Canaan is pushing their new AVALON miner series.
Such as the Avalon 841 which produces 13TH/s and consumes around 1300 watts.
The newer versions which are set to release soon will have more of a user friendly model instead of some big machine that just pumps out the hashes.
It will be a smart TV that also is a bitcoin mining device however it will only push 2.8 trillion hashes which would be 2.8/THs which if your into mining really is not that much.
The smart TV will allow for tracking of mining on your screen, easy setup and a store where you can cash in your mined bitcoin for items if you wish.
While this sounds all and good and honestly would be pretty bad ass the thing this ASIC will just continue to get better and you'll have a big paperweight of a TV monitor in no time.
When ASIC was released it pretty much killed bitcoins mining and at the rate its increasing soon we will hit a mark where mining bitcoin is so unprofitable it just would not make any sense to do it. My hopes are at this point or by this point bitcoin along with other cryptos find a solid way to truly decentralize the mining.

Can’t see how buying a tv with a miner would make sense given the useful life of a miner vs a smart tv. Like you say, there may some people who would just buy it given theey can afford it.
