Are You Ready For Mass Adoption ?
I really liked this image because it shows how times have changed and just how quickly we now adopt things into our lives. A fully functional easy to understand cryptocurrency could go from $1 to $300,000 in a matter of a few short years.
It seems like this year has been rather bland for cryptocurrency in general. However we do also need to remind ourselves that bitcoin and other cryptos where worth about 1/10th what they are sitting at today and that should speak volumns in terms of where we are headed.
A new paper from the researchers at Imperial College London have put out a paper called Cryptocurrencies: Overcoming Barriers of Trust and Adoption" which shows we are primed and ready for mass adoption within the next 10 years.
This might seem like a long time but look at how far we have come in the first few years of cryptocurrency. But more over the last year we went from funny money to a serious challenge to governments and billionaires. To me I see it as buying Apple or another major company when it was first starting up and holding on to it for 10 years for massive rewards. I think that is still where we sit today.
The reason I feel this is the case is that demand is there there, use cases are starting to grow, fixes have been added to make cryptocurrency better and supply is very limited. Remember just 1 trillion in bitcoin would set the price at about $50,000 per each which would not take long to get to if main stream adoption and usage came into play.
Where do you see bitcoin at in 3 years ?
If the problem that I have already answered you in the comments a couple of times will be solved, the price can reach and even exceed a hundred. If not, then roughly on current levels.
