Genesis Mining vs Hashflare - Ether Mining contracts

in #bitcoin7 years ago

Someone on steemit approached me with a sincere request to do a comparison between Genesis Mining and Hashflare. Check out my video to hear my thoughts about both companies. To hear about differences between both contracts and some information regarding reaching your break even. If you want to invest I would appreciate if you support me by using my affiliate link- thanks!

I really only have ever used hashflare for BTC mining. ETH never seems to be very profitable. Also I kind of hate the genesis waiting time for the contract to activate so I have never tried them. thanks for the comparison.

I expect that Genesis Mining will come up with some non pre order mining contracts in the near future to stay competetive. How did you go with your BTC mining contract on Hashflare so far? Any delays or missing payouts in the past? When did you sign up with Hashflare exactly? Did you already reach your break even? How high are their maintenance fees?

Well I had reached my break-even when everything was booming a few weeks ago(the btc value I withdrew had paid the ROI). But that was just one small withdrawal months ago that the value grew simply because bitcoin grew so fast. I have been reinvesting a lot up tell now because of high withdraw fees and such. Now it seems you need .05 btc to withdraw which takes a little for me to build up to. But payouts are consistent. I should do a update video on hashflare actually. I just don't cover them often, I'm not super into centralized mining but use them because I don't want to own a loud assic. thanks for the idea.

Dear Mr Delight, thanks for all the effort, I hope that you also found peace of mind in that you obviously feel that you have made the correct decision by going with Genesis. I will watch the vid again tomorrow as I am knackered at the moment and a wee bit brain dead. But yep it looked like the figures fell to Genesis. Do they have the option to reinvest and thereby up your hash power? Cheers J

No worries, I felt quite honored making this video because I knew at least someone will watch it and cares about my opinion. There is no reinvest option at Genesis Mining. It seems they simply sell the hashpower which they got or will have in the near future due to their calculation. From my point of view this approach makes sense to me. As far as I know the reinvest option at Hashflare doesn't make sense necessarily because all their contracts are limited in their duration. So re-investing is similar to purchasing a new contract. Re-investing won't extend the existing hashpower you bought previously.

Hey there, you may have felt honoured but I was the one who received the better end of the bargain. I always welcome the thoughts of those who have more experience and a greater understanding than myself...I believe its one of the only ways that we can really grow. Again thanks so much for the effort. It is a good point that you raise about the reinvestment. I have now, after a good nights sleep, had another look at the videos and each of the websites and have come to the conclusion that at this point in time I can do better with my pennies buy picking up a few bargains. Having said that I will keep my eye on things in the hope that the pendulum swings, as I do like the idea of watching a little mine grow. I think that you were wise getting in on a lifetime contract when you did, and if that option ever reappeared with a reputable company than I would look at it very closely. I will keep popping back to see what you have posted and touch base from time to time. Stay in touch, Cheers J
