MOVIE REVIEW! Banking on Bitcoin: Brand new movie out showcasing all the names and issues we are familiar with in the Liberty movement!
Released this weekend, this is a very well balanced & produced movie. It covers a lot of the people and issues that the Crypto community are already familiar with. This movie is well done and I believe is aimed at educating the masses and explaining crypto 101 topics and background to people on the fringe or wanting to learn more.
As such, it is a great and easy to watch teaching resource to advance the cause of Liberty as it relates to finance, blockchain tech and crypto currency showing the benefits and also relating it to the clear problems with government and the current banking industry. Neither of which work and certainly not effectively, affordably, efficiently or responsibly
Banking on Bitcoin is a movie that makes it palatable and understandable for the masses in terms of teaching Liberty/crypto/blockchain 101 and learning about the Crypto space, issues surrounding it and with some of the names behind the pioneering.
Our friend in Liberty @charlieshrem is a main focus of the movie. As is Roger Ver who many know as another early pioneer of Bitcoin and is commonly known as "Bitcoin Jesus" for his work in the space. Erik Voorhees and Gavin Andresen are key figures in the movie also, as well versed narrators of the film specifically and the crypto space in general. All these guys are people I admire a lot.
Their twitter accounts are listed at the end of my article here. So is the official film industry link for the movie via IMDB.com
Charlie's backstory and that of the "founder" of Bitcoin itself (Satoshi Nakamoto) are 2 good examples of how this movie explains in simple terms the 2nd stage of the crypto movement.
The first stages of the Crypto movement back in the 1970' and 80's with the " Cypher Punks " (the liberty minded early coders)are also included to weave the origins nicely together and then move the story ahead to the current days we are in.
TRAILER:
It starts with things like the 2008 world financial meltdown and the beginnings of Bitcoin at that time and knits the 2 issues together very nicely to show why alternatives are needed in the world with all the issues, corruption and bailouts while the masses suffer and pay the freight.
The movie also deals with some of the now current regulation and legislation of the crypto sector by government and how they get in the way of the movement and hamper the free market, as usual and gets in the way of commerce and liberty, as well as shows some of the usual bureaucratic nonsense of typical government policy.
This movie is already one of my favourites in the Liberty and Crypto space after one watch, and like with other Bitcoin movies I am aware of (The Rise and Rise of Bitcoin - 2014 and Bitcoin: The End of Money as We Know It - 2015) -- you will likely want to watch it several times and let your friends know about it who are learning.
My thoughts on the movie are below from the YouTube comments section before they get yanked down and yes I sent this trailer and my comments to our friend here @charlieshrem (: - He said he had not seen the movie yet LOL.
Great movie - I love seeing truth based documentary that goes mainstream and educates the masses. The same masses that have been bailing out corrupt banking and politics since the beginning of time and paying for it in more ways than one.
Watched it, loved it and will be blogging a movie review soon about this on Steemit - the Crypto based platform. I stand with Charlie Shrem and other pioneers in the Liberty movement while Big gov't and the police state continue to fetter in everything they can get their hands into. They bankrupt everything they touch.
--- But that is what happens when they themselves are morally bankrupt. Give me Liberty.
Thanks to our friend @ luzcypher here on Steemit for the blog post where I found the fact this movie is out ---

I am not a fan of having so many chats and this and that's with all this crypto stuff and 600 accounts and wallets lol
We totally understand!
No problem. You can post it here.
EDIT // Thanks. -- I had to find it in my files and login just to make sure... this is why when I started my crypto journey I was hoping to not scatter accounts and whatnot over many resources. I had hoped a couple wallets or accounts would cover everything LOL.
I will come back here and edit/delete that info once you reply to me here. Some things I just do not feel comfortable leaving in the public realm.
Have a nice week.
