Russian nuclear scientists arrested for 'Bitcoin mining plot'

in #bitcoin6 years ago

Hello Friends Good Evening All members ,

In this case, nuclear scientists working in Russia's nuclear weapons labs in Sarov were caught trying to use the labs' supercomputers to mine Bitcoin - an activity which can be highly lucrative, especially given the current high price of Bitcoin. It's interesting this case has come to light. The supercomputer was not supposed to be connected to the internet for security reasons, but to mine Bitcoins, the scientists had to connect it, and this is apparently how they were found out. They have now been arrested by the FSB.

Stepping outside the rules creates vulnerabilities , and it seems to me in this case the FSB acted in its proper role as "the servant of God": "Would you have no fear of the one who is in authority? Then do what is good, and you will receive his approval, for he is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for he does not bear the sword in vain. For he is the servant of God, an avenger who carries out God’s wrath on the wrongdoer. Therefore one must be in subjection, not only to avoid God’s wrath but also for the sake of conscience"

It would just be nice sometimes if the FSB did a better job of fulfilling its role in the capacity of God's servant.

Thank You! ⚜

I find this hilarious. Also, how would a scientist not know the computer shouldn't normally be connected...

information is very important that bitcoin continues worldwide @askquestion

Artenative experiment in work, given its high bitcoin price of the world.

lol^^

It's good those morons were caught. I bet they had an excellent life in the facility. Greed is nothing that should be a thing there.

Bitcoin has become very popular in the world, and this is because of the dependence of some banks on it @askquestion
