Coinmap: map of establishments that accept Bitcoin [do you still don't know?]
Coinmap is not new, it was released in 2013, but it is such an efficient tool that it is always worth reintroduction it, mainly because there are a constant number of people starting in the world of cryptos.
It is a map where you can consult the physical establishments that accept Bitcoins around the world. Your database is built collaboratively, meaning anyone can enter data on the map. In addition, the clients who have been there can leave their comments regarding their experience and rate with up to 5 stars.
Currently, there are almost 13,000 locations listed on the map, and you can search by name or category (coffee, food, grocery, lodging, nightlife, shopping, sports, transportation and others).
The https://coinmap.org also permise you see the time line of map insertions on the map. We see more prominent peaks in November 2013 and November 2017. Today, the largest concentrations of establishments are to the west of the US and Central Europe, but we see spots spread across all continents including South America. In Brazil, we highlight São Paulo , Rio de Janeiro, Curitiba, Florianópolis, Recife and Porto Alegre. Even in the Honolulu Islands, in the middle of the Pacific Ocean there are establishments that accept Bitcoins!
