Protesting The Federal Reserve Bank Is Futile, Giving Consumers A Superior Option Is Effective

in #bitcoin7 years ago (edited)

If you seek to change the world, you can surround yourself with others seeking to change the world — you can drop everything you are doing and move into the Bitcoin space. You can put down your plow and follow. You can put down your nets. The moneychangers’ tables are about to be overturned. The men at the gates are about to lose their walls. A revolution is taking place.

It’s not the futile protests of free-speech zones. It’s not a sit-in at a government building. It’s the kind of revolution that strikes men deep. It’s the kind of revolution that easily motivates others to join in by appealing to self-interest and desire. Walmart did not become great because of marches on Neiman Marcus. Nor will the Federal Reserve Bank fall from protest marches. One hundred years of complaining about the Fed have proven futile. Great change happens because the new replaces the old by better appealing to the wants of society.

Those who come today to lead that revolution in finance, in more secure online interaction, in microbanking, in contracts signatures, escrow, and distributed autonomous corporations, in a host of areas affected by this new protocol will have umpteen times greater odds of being the billionaires and trillionaires of tomorrow.

Move now. Dominate now. Whatever you think your role is, play it now. Stop spending time and money frivolously. Do everything you can to form an area of specialization for yourself in the Bitcoin space, as much as possible, as quickly as possible. He who wakes every morning asking, “How can I make Bitcoin faster, stronger, more flexible, and in any other way better?” will be among those who change the world.

He may also become wealthy in the process, since profit is the reward given to those who change a corner of the world in the way that is helpful or pleasing to a consumer.

Allan Stevo served as the Chief Market Maker at the New York Bitcoin Center and is the author of the newly released Bitcoin Manifesto, from which this selection is excerpted. His work in the cryptocurrency space has been covered by over 200 media sources.
