Bitcoin above 4000 $ - 3 possible scenarios. Let us guess in comments what will happen.
Hi, as you all know bitcoin is above the 4000 $ line. That is amazing and scary at the same time. As most of the time after bitcoin has a run something is happening.
From following the market intensively the last year I like to draw 3 scenarios:
1: as already happening - all altcoins (all coins from position 10 further down + some like maybe ripple or nem from the top coins) will be reduced in value - maybe 40-50 % down over the next 3-4 weeks. That all goes into bitcoin and bitcoin reaches a market dominance from 65 % + again ... with bitcoin cash together 67 % +
Either the next days or after scenario 1 is at its end
2: people take the money out of bitcoin. They do not invest into altcoin. (At least not within 2 weeks) Total panic on the market. Crash down to 75 Bn market cap. After that those who play the game perfectly reinvest and next game period starts.
3: most of the people that make big gains because of bitcoin take that immediately and try to find the next (short term) valuable altcoin. No real crash but reallocation. However market cap will go down like minus 15 Bn but that doesn't really matter - we have a 'end of june' situation with long existing altcoins that lost half of their value since the July bitcoin fear will return to their old value.
(My preferred scenario) after (3) maybe (4):
4: bitcoin climbs more slowly and drops 3-4 % on some days .... at the same time people find (slowly) trust in altcoins and our crypto finally turn into a healthy market.
What is your prediction boys and girls out there?

Ps: also worth a look: litecoin: with high Daily trading volume it stays around $46-48 and is not influenced from the bitcoin run nor from the altcoin losses. In my mind Ltc is the most mature coin the only one that could be used as means of daily payment at the moment... and don't forget it had its 10x gain in value already this year.
i am more horrify to imagine what will happen with Bitcoin next if there is a downfall from here now.
well we saw that in juli ;). down to 1500 and up to 4000 ... I guess the biggest downfall for now is below a dollar below 2000 ... and after that up to 5000 ... the only bad thing is that those who play the game perfectly take the money from the "poor private investors" that just started with bitcoin and go for panic-sell ... its like: "oh my god I lost 1000 euro with bitcoin" - "why its on 5000 and you bought with 3000?" - "yes but I sold at 2000 ... never again cryto such a scam" ;). "ok, better you are not in again ^^"

I think BTC can grow 5500$ Line....and I hope and wish it always... @alexpfeiffer what do you about this?....

My Guess: 4208 is turning point to under 4000 again (at least for a short periode) so the big questions: Are the people taking the big win back again into altcoin or money for real life spendings (nice holiday ;) )
it will come down very badly for sure lets see btw people already shifted it looks like taking the best profit out of it
we are now under 4000 - this more exicting to wath than most tv-series ;). let us see if the altcoins turn or not today or tomorrow ^^. usually I would say that 50 % of the money goes into gold or private spending in fiat and 50 % into altcoins. but you never know in cryto world.
I agree with scenario 1. Btc is leaving everything in the dust at the moment. Sold most of my alts with a big loss yesterday to just hold btc. I'm not regretting yet :). I think from now on I will always keep like 1/3 of my portfolio in btc to ride the waves and put it in ltc or usdt when i think it peaks and then buy back again a little lower. If i had kept my initial investment in btc I would have made the best gains so far as I've started in june. If people from the mainstream come into the cryptoscene, btc will be their first pick of course. good day guys :)
ps neo and iota are the only alts that hold up with btc at the moment.
Nice post @alexpfeiffer in my opinion with the increasing number of bitcoins wallet's every day i think now bitcoin soon reach 4500 to 5K, just like facebook and twitter and instagram when they have 20 M accounts no one knows them but once they reach 70 M accounts its become viral thing same case with bitcoin.
i m not happy @allexpfeiffer sir bcz i have some ripple and ripple will go down to increase btc....
Mmmh... in these hours I was thinking in the 2nd scenario... went up toooo fast, in my opinion.
for me this is going way too fast- especially after the recent fork-- there is no other example of a company, industry or coin that increase 2,3 times in few days after they split.
