nice article! you said that you think litecoin will get a boost if bitcoin gets a best. Just wondering, with the potential hard fork of bitcoin coming up in august, and the potential drop of bitcoin before (due to scared investors), do you think more people will buy litecoin as a safety measure? or will litecoin drop with bitcoin? thanks :)
If BTC splits it will be a negative for the space overall and LTC will probably drop. But then it should rise as it's the natural alternative. LTC should also do well if BTC scales as the overall space will get a boost.
If the rest of the market goes down, litecoin will go down. Hard. They all pretty much go up and down in tandem with alts being more volatile.
If BTC dropped to $800 over the next month, Litecoin would be less than $5. Ethereum, the great foil of bitcoin, would be less than $50 even if it became the official currency of Togo and the European Union joined the Ethereum Alliance.
