The black kite (Milvus migrans)

Frequent visitor to the forest. In general, these birds live everywhere. Often I see them in city courtyards. Earlier, I lived in another region, and when I moved here to Siberia, I was very surprised to see a predator hovering over the yard. I even thought at first that he was living with someone at home. But no, they are free wild birds.

In the forest, they hunt small rodents, namely forest mice.
One day, I was walking through the trees, and a squirrel fell from above from a great height, and a kite fluttered from somewhere in the trees. Apparently he caught this squirrel.
