Ratel's photos #322 Forest Birds-255
The common reed bunting (Emberiza schoeniclus)
At first I couldn’t identify the species of this bird for a long time. In appearance, I knew for sure that it was bunting. These birds have a peculiar form of the beak. I watched encyclopedias and photos in google. But I was confused by the dark beak of this bird. All the buntings that I saw, the beak was bright. I reviewed many species of bunting, and finally found out that it is female reed bunting.
The common starling (Sturnus vulgaris)
And next to bunting, a starling walked in the grass. Look what he is wet and disheveled!
A little further, a small river flows in a ravine, probably there he bathed. And now he is hungry and walks looking for fat caterpillars.
