White Breasted Nuthatch
Hello Steemians
This female nuthatch, which has a grey cap, as opposed to
the male that has a black one, is very agile.
Often seen moving up and down branches, searching for
insects and seeds.
It gets it's name from jamming nuts into ............
tree bark, and then whacking them with it's beak thus
hatching the seed from the inside.
Found in Southern Canada, most of the U.S. and
central Mexico.
Very common at backyard feeders.
