I love it when the EAPH shows up in the northeastern U.S. when I visit Maine to visit family as early as March! They are a harbinger of spring with their exuberent Phe-oh--bee call and their tail wagging. Is it late for them now? I suspect most must have gone south by now?
I have seen very few of them, and yes, never this late in the year.
I have never seen any as early as March here.
