Catching a Break from the Rain

Surf Scoter Melanitta perspicillata

Yesterday was a typically rainy spring day in Tacoma, but a short dry break in the morning allowed a bit of birding. I tried for some lingering birds on Commencement Bay, and managed good looks at common birds.
