"Blockchain is a new technology, it's awesome ... There is a possibility that we're being brainwashed here: like, they're giving it to us to become familiar with, so that they can utilize it on us later ... When we already know what it is and we won't think it is a bad thing...
Al they would do is, they'll say:
Look, we have a new service, created on a Blockchain, we're going to eliminate cash, and we're going to give everybody $5000... Come to your local City Hall, get finger-printed and we gonna give you Identifying Number, which will be your Ledger Address...
And once they do that ... you got $5000 in this Ledger... Then they tell all the companies to pay their employees to their Ledger... You can spend that by using your finger thumb, no need to carry your credit card, check book, anything. It's easy, right?
Now since it is a gov. Ledger, they can trace all the money you've been sent. Now there is no way you can avoid taxes. There is no cash, there is no hand-to-hand cash! Everything is through this Ledger: if you want to pay somebody else, you'll use your App in the phone, the Ledger App that gov. gives you, and you send it to the next person...
Everything will be on your Ledger: all information about you...
You think this isn't happening? Like: 'how they gonna get my thumbprint?' They've already got your finger-prints: we all got iPhones... If you don't think Apple has given your finger-prints away - you're crazy... "

May be this is how they get us to the Cashless Society: by having everybody invest in Digital Currencies... "

well, actually most likely govs have very little to do with all this stuff. taking into consideration that practically nowadays more or less all the country-states have no actual sovereignty, but just a sort of front-men for corporations and banks. govs only kept for mere appearance of sovereignty, for naive general public. while all those giant corporations are actually apolitical and anational and sort of amoral. they don't really care about any particular country, as long as it helps nor hinders achieving their goals. that's why they are even called so: Trans-National Corporations. emphasizing that they TRANS-scend the national borders and interests of silly local petty landlords and of their sheeple.
