2018 World cup in Russia has come and gone, France won it again like they did in 1998 when they hosted it- so what?
But this is about Croatia, each time the National team plays from the knockout stage right to the finals, the Croatian President, the pretty woman seen in the VIP booth with the FIFA president Gianni Infantino and sometimes with the Russian President Vladimir Putin; Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic has many of us football lovers savouring, she stormed the tournament with her beauty and endless selfless support for her Team, even though they lost the finals.
Beneath the Beauty lies energy and strength, “like a dragon skin” impenetrable by a mere weapon. The 50years old Croatian president was born sometime in April in 1968 and became president at the age of 46 back in 2015.

SWAMBO as she is popularly referred to in the Army and NATO troop, she was an army commando and a flawless marksman, a no-nonsense woman that must be obeyed hence the name SWAMBO like RAMBO!
As a former Ambassador of Croatia to the United State from 2008 to 2011 and then she became the NATO Assistant Secretary General for Public Diplomacy. A post held first time by a woman, always visiting the Middle East and Afghanistan on several occasions to motivate and boost the morale of NATO troops stationed there.

She is multi-lingual, speaking about 6 languages which include Spanish, French, Russian, German, and Italia with her native language. She doesn’t just speak multiple languages, aside from her “diverse tongue”; she is a scholar, studied at George Washington University, also at John Hopkins University and then Harvard. As the president, she is also pursuing a doctorate degree in international relations.

Kolinda Grabar Kitarovic had earned the praises of former presidents Barack Obama and George Bush Jr. in the past and now she had melted the hearts of the Whole World (at least football lovers) with her selfless acts. The Croatian president was rumored to have bought her own plane ticket (an economic class ticket) to the football tournament, she mingled with fans and spectators. Seen several times from the VIP box full of life and energy as she cheers her football team.
Even though her boys lost in the finals against the French team, she was in the rain at the medal ceremony hugging every sweaty and rain drenched player from both winner and runner-up team, she visits the Croatian National team in their dressing room after every knock-out stage football match on their way to the final game to motivate them and inspire them.
Kolinda is an icon, a mother, a true leader and a woman after our own hearts. We all envy to have her as a mother, wife, girlfriend and maybe a crush-lover!
