The Island Flow: Bike Ride in Nature & Pub Overlooking The Ocean
I usually try to go on a bike ride every evening now we're deep into summer, i try but it ends up being more like 2 or 3 times a week max, i am not that fit you know, so i have to build up to being on the exercise thing regularly.
I am more of a walker, but for me, i just like to be in nature, around the plants, the trees and the animals. And just pause for a while in various spots to unwind the mind and just be. I like to climb hills and peaks, not too high though, i'm not into having a heart attack just yet haha.
I Just wanted to share some pics on the route i enjoy most, i don't always take pics, but i took quite a lot last night, so i hope you enjoy.
It was a beautiful evening, lot of horseflies here this time of year and boy do they dig into you when they bite!
I have a lot of friends in the fields that also make me smile. Anyway, some photos i edited slightly to bring out the colors, some are not. The picturesque views never fail to amaze me. I hope you enjoy!

As yesterday was a pure day of leisure for me, I went for a nice drink (just the one of course!) at an amazing pub hidden away just outisde a village called Chale along the South coast, the pub overlooks the sea! Beautiful place. Nice people too.

I used to live in an area of my country that had horseflies (I don't miss them... and the chiggers were terrible!), but there are very little number of insects that can stand the cold and salty air by the Pacific ocean, where I live now. Mainly just lots and lots of spiders, which do not bother me.
Hehe, yeah the island is only 23 miles wide, so there's quite a few spots you can see it which is cool :) that's interesting, those horseflies really are a pain lol. I quite like spiders though.
