Still on the second discussion; violent reaction.
When you have realized things are not working, you need to react to that situation. Life won’t always give you what you deserve but what you demand. You need to respond because when a defining moment comes, you must define that moment or else the moment will define you. The prodigal son had to respond. He reacted by retracing his steps back to his father’s house. He wasn’t looking for a pity party. He wasn’t trying to get by. His uncomfortable situation led him to realize and then he took steps towards restoration.
You need to ACT. Winners are said to be ex-losers who got tired, and then mad. You need to grow tired of the particular trend that is unpleasant in your life which should provoke a mad reaction by you. You need to dare the impossible and go that extra miles or length, even though your ego would be bruised.
When Jesus was preaching in the room, some friends of a sick man were desperate and they got mad about their friend’s situation that when they couldn’t find an entry for him through the door, they let him down through the roof and he was healed. They came to a realization which sparked a crazy reaction from them.
Luke 5:18 & 19
”18 Some men took a man who was not able to move his body to Jesus. He was carried on a bed. They looked for a way to take the man into the house where Jesus was. 19 But they could not find a way to take him in because of so many people. They made a hole in the roof over where Jesus stood. Then they let the bed with the sick man on it down before Jesus.”
