RE: Beltane sabbath - a pagan celebration of sexuality, passion and LIFE
Do you practise the apple seed tradition? And did you know that this nursery rhyme is actually about Beltane?
Ride a cockhorse to Banbury Cross,
To see a fine lady upon a white horse;
Rings on her fingers and bells on her toes,
She shall have music wherever she goes.
Fun fact the people of Banbury have no idea that they have a statue of the goddess in the middles of their community , LOL

Have a good Beltane love :)

I didn't know this! What a great comment, @tygertyger!

I never knew that rhyme was about Beltane! How fascinating, and it is a very happy rhyme too. Some nursery rhymes are quite dark.
Hahahaha, how funny and interesting about Banbury, I love it! I know about the apple tradition and do it on both Beltane and Samhain. Thank you for your lovely and informative comment! 💚💚💚
