Hello and welcome to Beyond the Veil we are excited about the launch of our forthcoming weekly newsletter, which aims to highlight articles relating to the Spiritual and the Supernatural.

Who are we?
Beyond the veil, are a group of people who share common interests regarding the supernatural and the spiritual. We agree that together, these should go hand in hand an compliment each other. We are a server on discord, who welcomes members who share such interests, beliefs and practices.
Our server is owned by @crazybgadventure and @lenadr (the Elders.) And the group is moderated by @enchantedspirit @catweasel and @zen-art (the Shamans) We are a small group at the moment but we are growing, week on week. It is our hope that people in the community can find people to talk to talk about their interests and beliefs, without fear of persecution.
Our aim is for the server to be a safe haven for people, to come to and be respected and encouraged to talk about such matters.

Our mission statement .
We chose Beyond the Veil because we feel the tag is an excellent analogy of both subjects, we see no reason why the two subjects should not open up new and interesting ideas and content which inevitably, will be shared on the steemit platform under the Beyond the Veil tag.
We have an aim that the Beyond the veil tag, will grow to become one of the most respected communities regarding supernatural an spiritual on the platform. That people will be able to meet new friends and make long lasting relationships, in the years to come. We are always open to suggestions about how we can increase our visibility and what we can do to better the community.

With thanks to @zen-art who created our banner we have two banners available animated and non animated, we encourage steemians, to use these banners in their posts to proudly show that they are a member of the community.

Our exciting newsletter is about to be launched.

Each week six members will be contributing articles for our newsletter, the difference with our newsletter from curation is that the articles are written specifically for the newsletter, but in turn the newsletter will feature the contributors individual posts. Whilst some of our members are amazing curators, it is not the intention of the newsletter to actively seek the content on the platform, but to share if from our own members.
Beyond the veil will power up any rewards received until such time that sufficient voting power is gathered to reward authors who contribute to the newsletter, as a collective we will agree when the rewards will start to be shared.
We have received SBD donations to our account.
It is with thanks to the following members @dreemsteem @catweasel @ethandsmith and @magicalmoonlight who have each generously donated either 1 steem or 1 sbd to our account which has been powered up to help us increase our vp to reward beyond the veil members in the future.
Whilst there is no set rule for members to delegate, or donate to our account, should you wish to do to help reward our authors, please send to @beyondtheveil, your donation would be most welcome and you will be added to our weekly roll of honour in our newsletter.
We may in time start a curation trail, but that would be subject to our member numbers and how big the account grows, however we do encourage anyone interesting in contributing to our newsletter to contact us to discuss the matter further.

It sort of scared me when I first arrived on Steemit to see there was really no sort of presence in here for these kinds of interests -- which I consider fundamental to who I am and how I live my life. I don't talk about them much, because I don't think you need to beat people over the head with your spiritual beliefs. You work with the knowledge and live according to your principles ... and that should be enough. Teach by example.
To find that articles on spirituality, the occult sciences, metaphysics, depth psychology, etc., were virtually non-existent was both discouraging and worrisome. But the more I am here, the more I find lots of people are on my wavelength. Like me, they don't talk about it much, but they live their lives with these things in mind.
I am so grateful @crazybgadventure that you have begun this community. (I'm even more grateful I don't have to run it!) I look forward to contributing to it weekly and working toward its success. (This newsletter is so exciting! )
