SERGEY MARVRODI: MMM IMPASSE IN NIGERIA!

The Nation Nigeria (West Africa) woke up on the 13th of December, 2016; to a grim announcement by the creator of MMM worldwide Sergey Marvrodi; that the internet platform goes on suspension for a month. In an open message to all participants, Sergey wrote as follow:

Dear members,

As usual in the new year season, the system is experiencing heavy workload. Moreover, it has to deal with constant frenzy provoked by he authorities in the mass media. The things are still going well, the participants feel calm; everyone get paid - as you can see there haven't been payment delays or other problem yet but it is better to avoid taking risks. Moreover there are almost three weeks left to the new year.

Hence on the basis of the above mentioned, from now on all confirmed marvros will be frozen for a month.

The reason for this measure is evident, we need to prevent any problem during the new year season, and then, when everything calm down, this measure will be cancelled. (which we will definitely do).

This turn out to be a distressing news for millions of Nigerians and at a particularly stressful time. Nigerians inspite of warning from all over the world about the activities of Marvrodi brothers; embraced the MMM scheme putting their life savings into it without even a second thought. This turned to be the case as many of the early risk takers started to broadcast news of miraculous income. In a country where wages have not been paid for up to 10 months even in the public service, MMM was a lifesaver. It became the major source of income to many people while it lasted. Warnings from national authorities about the inherent danger of the scheme could not sway Nigerian, who have gone past caring and true to their promises; the exchange of many continue for months. But without warning came Marvrodi's embargo. I am involved too, with many people linked to me as referrals and their life savings hanging in the balance.
